Les moustiques ont été infectés avec le virus du chikungunya. Les estomacs ont été disséqués à J5 post-infection, fixés et perméabilisés. Le virus est marqué en rouge (anticorps anti-E2 marqué avec une cyanine 3), le réseau d'actine en vert (phalloidine 548) et les noyaux en bleu (DAPI).

Mosquitoes were orally infected with the chikungunya virus. Midguts were dissected at day 5 post-infection, fixed and permeabilised. Virus is shown in red (anti-E2 protein, cyanine 3), the actin network in green (phalloidin 548) and nuclei in blue (DAPI).
